Jesus is coming.🌤
Hey, Crosspoint!
Jesus is coming! Let’s not forget. We can live with excitement, as a believer in Jesus Christ, that whether we are here when He comes or whether we die before He returns, we are His. So what are we supposed to do until then?
The Bible says it like this, “For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.” 1 Thessalonians 5:2, 4-5, 8
This chapter actually goes on to say because Christ is coming back, do this: rejoice, pray, give thanks. Let’s do it, church, let’s live with eternity on our hearts and minds. Read all of it when you get a chance. You’ll love it!
Important change‼️
Beginning this week, there will only be one worship gathering each Sunday. That service will be at 10:30 am. In an effort to make the best use of our space and resources we are combining our Sunday worship gatherings since Covid space limitations are not currently in effect. This will give us more opportunities for other outreaches (like the ones mentioned below) for the time being.
October is a month for outreach!👏
October 3 - SoCal Harvest
SoCal Harvest is going to be epic! One night only. Grab some invitations and a bumper sticker this Sunday. Bring your friends.

October 17 - Skid Row
We want to share the love of Jesus with everyone. One way we can do this is through outreach efforts in the community. On Sunday, October 17, we are going to give clothes and other needed items to people living on skid row in downtown LA. We would love for you to help.
Here are ways you can be a part:
1. Donate nice used clothes.
2. Purchase clothes and/or hygiene items. Here is an amazon link to a list we have put together. You can bring these items with you on October 17 or have them delivered to us at:

3. Help us pack the bags that we will give out on Skid row. Immediately following the service, we will take all the donated items and pack them in bags so they are ready to be handed out that afternoon.
4. Teens and adults, we would love for you to go with us as we give out these bags of supplies along with the Gospel. We’ll leave at 3:00 pm to go share God’s Word on the street, sing and give out the bags of donated items. Please sign up here so we can plan transportation.
