Moving Forward Together: God’s Plan Will Not Fail
As we’ve been preparing to move into our new space at World Vision, we’ve been amazed at how many parallels we’ve seen between what God is doing at Crosspoint and what the guys have been studying in the book of Nehemiah, on Wednesday nights.
As pastor, I have been so encouraged watching our church family coming together to serve. There is something powerful about seeing everyone recognize that they have a part to play in what God is doing.
Nehemiah wasn’t without opposition. As the wall was being rebuilt, the enemy mocked them, threatened them, tried to discourage them, and eventually tried to distract Nehemiah from the work God had given him to do.
But the people kept building.
They prayed, they watched, they worked together, and they refused to quit.
One of the most powerful verses comes near the end of the story:
Nehemiah 6:15 “So the wall was finished… in fifty-two days.”
What God had put in Nehemiah’s heart was accomplished—not because there were no obstacles, but because God was faithful through every obstacle.
This truth has been such an anchor to us as we move forward together. We have seen God open doors, provide what we need, bring people together, and continue leading Crosspoint into the next chapter. And just as in Nehemiah, there have been challenges along the way, but the opposition does not mean God’s plan has changed.
God’s plans do not fail.
He is moving us forward as we continue to love Jesus, make disciples, serve one another, and reach people with the gospel.
This Sunday will be our last Sunday in our current location. We are grateful for all that God has done during our 6 years at 434 N Altadena Dr. We cherish the memories, and lives that have been impacted within these walls.
But we aren’t looking backward. We are moving forward together.
Like the people in Nehemiah, we each have a part to play. And we’re excited to see what God is going to do next.
Nehemiah 2:20a “The God of heaven Himself will prosper us; therefore we His servants will arise and build.”
Let’s keep our eyes on Jesus, keep working together, and trust that what God has started, He will faithfully accomplish.

Instead of our normal Wednesday activities, we’re having a church-wide Moving Party at our current location on Altadena Dr!
We need everyone who is able to help us make the transition and prepare for our first Sunday at World Vision.
There will be no regular Wednesday Bible study or activities that evening.
Childcare will not be available.
Ladies’ Retreat 2026

Crosspoint’s 10th Birthday / First Sunday at World Vision
September 27 | 9:30 am & 11:30 am
This is a BIG Sunday!
We’ll celebrate ten years of God’s faithfulness to Crosspoint on the same Sunday we hold our first services at World Vision.
After the services, we’ll celebrate together with a taco truck! With so much happening that week, we don’t want to add the work of preparing and serving a large meal. We want our church family and volunteers to be able to enjoy this milestone together.
Come ready to worship, celebrate, fellowship, eat some tacos, and thank God for all He has done! This will also be a great Sunday to invite someone to join you.
AWANA
October 7 | 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Our weekly discipleship for kids and junior high students is returning soon. It will be on Wednesdays from 7-8:30pm.
This is a wonderful time for your kids to learn Biblical truths and memorize Bible verses all while having fun together!

Join us each Wednesday as we gather together around God’s Word and prayer. It’s a time to grow in our faith, encourage one another, and strengthen our connection as a church family.

A discipleship program for kids/teens for ages 3 years-9th grade: check-in starts at 6:45 pm.
