The world may be a crazy place, but we serve the God of the universe. Itās time to put our focus šÆ on our amazing God! Think on what is true. Our time here on earth is so temporary. As Christians, we are living now for the eternal.
Psalm 46:1-5, 7 Ā God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Baptism Sunday
September 19 - We are so excited about those who have given their lives to Jesus and are boldly declaring their faith in Him through baptism. On September 19, we will have another baptism Sunday. If you have been saved but have not been baptized like Jesus was, you should click this link to sign up today!

Prayer Gathering
Our prayer gatherings in August were super encouraging, and the presence of God has truly been evident! We encourage you to gather with others in the church family for prayer. Spontaneously or scheduled, these prayer times are proving essential in the life of the church.

Important changeā¼ļø
Starting in the month of October, there will only be one worship gathering each Sunday. That service will be at 10:30 am. In an effort to make the best use of our space and resources we are combining our Sunday worship gatherings since Covid space limitations are not currently in effect. This will give us more opportunities for other outreaches (like the ones mentioned below) for the time being.

SoCal Harvest is going to be epic! One night only. Grab some invitations and a bumper sticker this Sunday. Bring your friends.

October 17 - Skid Row
We want to share the love of Jesus with everyone. One way we can do this is through outreach efforts in the community. On Sunday, October 17, we are going to give clothes and other needed items to people living on skid row in downtown LA. We would love for you to help.
Here are ways you can be a part:
1. Donate nice used clothes.
2. Purchase clothes and/or hygiene items. Here is an amazon link to a list we have put together. You can bring these items with you on October 17 or have them delivered to us at:

3. Help us pack the bags that we will give out on Skid row. Immediately following the service, we will take all the donated items and pack them in bags so they are ready to be handed out that afternoon.
4. Teens and adults, we would love for you to go with us as we give out these bags of supplies along with the Gospel. Weāll leave at 3:00 pm to go share Godās Word on the street, sing and give out the bags of donated items. Please sign up here so we can plan transportation.
If we are the body of Christ, let's be His heart, hands, feet, and voice!
