Growing Together
As summer comes to an end in just a few weeks, we are launching our new growth groups. One of the things I love most about Growth Groups is that they give us a space to be real with one another — to listen, to learn, and to grow in our faith together. Life can be busy and unpredictable, and it’s tempting to treat these kinds of gatherings as optional. But Scripture encourages us not just to show up for ourselves, but to be present for each other.
Hebrews 10:24-25 Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. 25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.
Every time we come together, it’s a chance to be a blessing — and to receive one. Your presence might be the encouragement someone else needs, and the way someone else shares might be exactly what you need too. I also want to encourage us to remember those who are leading — whether that’s a group leader, a ministry head, or someone pouring out behind the scenes. 1 Thessalonians 5:12–13 reminds us to "honor those who are your leaders in the Lord’s work. They work hard among you and give you spiritual guidance. Show them great respect and wholehearted love because of their work. And live peacefully with each other."
A kind word, a prayer, or even just showing up consistently can mean more than you know.
Let’s keep growing, not just in what we learn, but in how we care for one another.

Emmanuel Baptist Rescue Mission

Let's Go! We get to go together to serve the Lord Jesus and share His love with others on skid row. Everyone is welcome.
We will conduct a preaching service and share the Gospel with the attendees. Afterward, we will assist in serving the meal and cleaning up.

Just Men's Conference

Let's learn from God's Word what real masculinity looks like. Join us for inspiring speakers, engaging workshops, and of course, lots of fun.
We're going to hear from some men whom God has called to start brand new churches on the West Coast (some right here in Southern California!).

Hoving Home

This is a great opportunity for women in our church family to go and share God’s Word and love with women who need hope and Christian friendship.
World Vision - Chosen
September 14
On Sunday, September 14, we will be launching a powerful partnership with World Vision - Chosen. This is a unique opportunity for us as a church family to make a difference in the lives of children in Sri Lanka.
Here’s the twist: this time the children will choose their sponsor! It’s a beautiful reflection of the Gospel — Jesus saw our need, offered us eternal life, and invites us to choose Him.
We’ll be sharing more details soon, including how you can be part of this life-changing opportunity. For now, mark your calendar for September 14 and get ready to see how God can use us to shine His love around the world.
Baptism Sunday
September 14
God is doing a great work in hearts! Several have trusted in Christ lately and are ready to follow the Lord in believer's baptism. We are going to be baptizing after each service and celebrating with these new believers.

Sharing Hope in Crisis
September 27 at 9 am - 3 pm
The one-day Sharing Hope in Crisis seminar led by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association is intended for anyone and everyone in the church. All of us know a friend, neighbor or co-worker who is struggling with a life crisis. This seminar was developed to help you know what to say and what not to say when people grieve, and how to compassionately and appropriately share the love and hope of Jesus Christ. This training is also beneficial for first responders and church leaders who face suffering people on a regular basis.

Sunday @ 9 AM - Prayer
We believe in the power of prayer. We would love for you to join us for this special time to seek the Lord together before the morning service.
Sunday @ 9:30 AM & 11:30 AM - Worship gathering
During the 9:30 service, there will be childcare through age 5.
During the 11:30 worship gathering, we will have childcare through 4th grade.
Check-in for childcare starts 15 minutes prior to each gathering.
Wednesday @ 7:00 PM - Bible Study (No Bible Study this week)
Come each Wednesday for Bible study. Be strengthened in your walk with the LORD and your connection with our church family. Throughout the summer, we will have separate Bible studies for men and ladies. At the end of the Bible study, we break up into growth groups for discussion, connection, encouragement, and prayer.

Wednesday @ 7:00 PM - Summer Kids
A summer kids program will run every week for ages 0-5th grade. Check in starts at 6:45 pm.
(Our Awana discipleship program for kids will resume at the end of summer)
