Moving Forward Together
Week Three: Every Member Has a Part
Over the past two weeks, we’ve been reminded that the church is people, not a place, and that moving forward together means striving together for the Gospel. This week, we want to remember something equally important: every member has a part.
Paul compares the church to a body, and Peter reminds us we all have been gifted, by God, to serve. A body has many different parts, each with its own purpose, but every part is connected and necessary.
1 Corinthians 12:20 But now indeed there are many members, yet one body.
1 Peter 4:10 As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another.
You may not have the same gifts as someone else, and you may not have a role that gets noticed very often. But that doesn’t make your contribution less important. A word of encouragement, a faithful prayer, welcoming someone new, serving a child, helping behind the scenes, or simply showing up consistently to worship Jesus can make a greater difference than we realize.
We also need to resist the temptation to compare our role with someone else's. Romans 12 reminds us that we have different gifts according to the grace God has given us. The goal isn't to do what someone else does. The goal is to faithfully use what God has given you.
Every member has a part.
Every gift has a purpose.
Every act of faithfulness matters.
So ask yourself: Where is God inviting me to serve? Who can I encourage? What part can I faithfully play in building up His church?
We don't have to do everything. We simply need to be faithful with what God has placed in our hands. Together, let's move forward—not for our own recognition, but for the sake of the Gospel and the glory of Jesus Christ.
A Prayer for Our Church
Lord, thank You for giving each of us a place and a purpose within Your church. Help us recognize the gifts You have given us and use them faithfully. Keep us from comparison, and give us willing hearts to serve one another. As we move into this next season, help every member of Crosspoint know that they have a part to play. May everything we do point people to Jesus. Amen.

Men’s Conference

Men, join us for the Crosspoint Men's Conference— centered on God's Word, worship, and prayer. Together we'll be encouraged and challenged to grow as men who love Jesus and faithfully follow Him.

Sunday @ 9 am - Prayer
We believe in the power of prayer. We would love for you to join us for this special time to seek the Lord together before the morning service.
Sunday @ 9:30 am & 11:30 am - Worship gatherings
Childcare and classes are available for kids through 4th grade.
Check-in for childcare starts 15 minutes prior to each gathering.
Wednesday @ 7:00 pm - Bible Study
Come each Wednesday for Bible study. Be strengthened in your walk with the LORD and your connection with our church family. Throughout the summer, we will have separate Bible studies for men and ladies. At the end of the Bible study, we break up into small groups for discussion, connection, encouragement, and prayer.
Wednesday @ 7:00 pm - Summer Kids
A summer kids program will run for ages 0-5th grade. Check in starts at 6:45 pm.
(Our Awana discipleship program for kids will resume next school year)
