Everything Is Falling (not Apart but) Into Place🌥️
2 Timothy 3:1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
Hebrews 12:28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.
1 Timothy 4:7-8 But reject profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise yourself toward godliness. 8 For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.
With LA riots, wars involving Israel, Iran, and Russia and other nations, and a troubling rise in health issues for many, it can feel like the world is unraveling - even right here in our back yard.
Division, confusion, disease, and violence dominate the media headlines.
For those who trust in Jesus, we’re reminded that God tells us in His Word that in the last days (perilous times) would come.
He did not leave us hopeless. As a matter of fact— He offered us so much hope.
When we see His power, foreknowledge, wisdom, and love, we can be assured that what seems to be falling apart is actually falling into place.
Matthew 24:6 “And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars...”
What we’re seeing is exactly what Jesus and the apostles said we would see. These birth pains point to the fact His return can happen at any time.
He calls us to live with urgency, not fear.
That’s why we’re staying focused.
On Wednesdays, our ladies are in the book of Philippians in a study entitled Get Out of Your Head, learning to take their thoughts captive in obedience to Christ.
Our men are studying 1 Timothy 4, training in spiritual discipline to be strong in the daily spiritual battle.
On Sundays, our study of the Tabernacle reminds us that God deeply desires not just a relationship but also close fellowship with us.
AND we are in the midst of our 30-day Pray & Go effort, intentionally obeying the Great Commission.
As we pray over our neighborhoods, tell others about Jesus, and give invitations to Crosspoint, we’re seeing how God uses prayer to stir hearts and strengthen witness.
This is not a project for a few.
This is a mission for every believer.
So while the world shakes, we do not.
2 Corinthians 10:5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

Through the summer, we are taking some time for intentional fellowship and connection. Our summer potlucks are a wonderful time to connect with others in the church. Meet a new friend. Strengthen your relationships, and enjoy some amazing cuisine!

Emmanuel Baptist Rescue Mission

Let's Go! We get to go together to serve the Lord Jesus and share His love with others on skid row. Everyone is welcome.
We will conduct a preaching service and share the Gospel with the attendees. Afterward, we will assist in serving the meal and cleaning up.

Harvest Crusade

One of our favorite and most exciting evangelistic opportunities is here! The Harvest Crusade reaches thousands of people each year with the Gospel. We are blessed to be a part.
Invite your friends and family to go along with you to Angel Stadium to hear Christian artists Chris Tomlin, Brooke Ligertwood, We the Kingdom, Kari Jobe Carnes, and Cody Carnes. These will be followed by an encouraging, life changing Gospel message given by Pastor Greg Laurie.
What an exciting time!!

Each month this year, we are featuring a different ministry team. We are grateful for the way each team serves so faithfully to help us accomplish the ministry to which God has called us.
Worship Team
Our Worship Team leads us as we lift up the Name of Jesus and worship Him each service. We are so blessed to have these talented singers and musicians serving faithfully and working hard to improve their gifts to help us focus on Jesus and prepare our hearts for the preaching of the Word of God.We are always looking for people with heart, passion, and talent for this ministry to add to our team. Sunday @ 9 AM - Prayer
We believe in the power of prayer. We would love for you to join us for this special time to seek the Lord together before the morning service.
Sunday @ 9:30 AM & 11:30 AM - Worship gathering
During the 9:30 service, there will be childcare through age 5.
During the 11:30 worship gathering, we will have childcare through 4th grade.
Check-in for childcare starts 15 minutes prior to each gathering.
Wednesday @ 7:00 PM - Bible Study
Come each Wednesday for Bible study. Be strengthened in your walk with the LORD and your connection with our church family. Throughout the summer, we will have separate Bible studies for men and ladies. At the end of the Bible study, we break up into growth groups for discussion, connection, encouragement, and prayer.

Wednesday @ 7:00 PM - Summer Kids
A summer kids program will run every week in its place for ages 0-5th grade. Check in starts at 6:45 pm.
(Our Awana discipleship program for kids will resume at the end of summer)
