A Present Help
Psalm 34:18 The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit.
Throughout the week, we have continued meditating on the truth that was shared on Sunday - the presence of God in our lives is a constant and truly a comfort. Many have shared how the message resonated deeply with them, and for that, we are so thankful.
God dwells with us. He is not a distant deity, but a present and personal Savior—near to the brokenhearted, faithful in the valley, and strong when we are weak.
If you’re walking through a difficult season of pain, sorrow, or loss, we want to remind you that the Lord sees you, walks with you, and offers His peace, strength, and comfort. You’re not alone.
As your church family, we’re here to pray with you and support you. Please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Let’s continue to lean into His presence this week. Whether in joy or grief, peace or pain, we can say with confidence: God is with us, and He is enough.
Here are a few ways to stay encouraged this week:
- Read Psalm 46 – a reminder that God is our refuge and strength.
- Reach out – if you need prayer or support, send us an emailor contact your growth group leader or your discipler.
- Worship through the week – take a few minutes each day to sing, pray, or reflect on His nearness. Here is a good playlist to get started!

Annual Meeting
June 1 at 1:15 pm
All members are encouraged to attend our annual business meeting. We will discuss the blessings we have seen over the last year and the budget for ministry throughout 2025. This will be a brief meeting at the church after a brief break following the second service.

Summer Growth Group Kickoff Potluck
June 4 at 7:00 pm
Let's start the summer with a celebration! We are excited to hear from the Awana classes about the things they learned throughout the year, and enjoy some time to fellowship together over a meal. Let's all bring food enough for our family and some to share.

Emmanuel Baptist Rescue Mission
June 5 at 7:00 pm
Let's Go! We get to go together to serve the Lord Jesus and share His love with others on skid row. Everyone is welcome.
We will conduct a preaching service and share the Gospel with the attendees. Afterward, we will assist in serving the meal and cleaning up.

Each month this year, we are featuring a different ministry team. We are grateful for the way each team serves so faithfully to help us accomplish the ministry to which God has called us.
Hoving Home
Our ministry at Hoving Home is an amazing outreach where women from our church visit once a month to lead a Bible study and facilitate small group discussions for the women residing there. This time of fellowship provides encouragement, spiritual growth, and a sense of community as we share God’s Word and His love. Through meaningful conversations, prayer, and support, our goal is to walk alongside the hurting women at Hoving Home as they continue their journey of healing and transformation in Christ.We would love for you to be involved! Sunday @ 9 AM - Prayer
We believe in the power of prayer. We would love for you to join us for this special time to seek the Lord together before the morning service.
Sunday @ 9:30 AM & 11:30 AM - Worship gathering
During the 9:30 service, there will be childcare through age 5.
During the 11:30 worship gathering, we will have childcare through 4th grade.
Check-in for childcare starts 15 minutes prior to each gathering.
Wednesday @ 7:00 PM - Bible Study
Come each Wednesday for Bible study. Be strengthened in your walk with the LORD and your connection with our church family.
Wednesday @ 7:00 PM - AWANA
Our exciting discipleship program for kids continues on Wednesday night from 7:00 - 8:30 PM. Bring your kids to join the fun and learn God's Word! (Check in starts at 6:45 PM)
Growth Groups
Our Growth Groups are a wonderful way to get connected to our church family. Your Group Leader will let you know when and where your Group will meet each month.
