Continuing On & Staying Strong
Has the fresh start of the new year settled into real life—busy schedules, responsibilities, and even a few unexpected challenges? It can be easy to let life happen to us and slowly lose the intentionality we may have begun the year with.
But Scripture reminds us that God never asked us to rely on momentum. He invites us to rely on Him. Paul encourages the church:
1 Corinthians 16:13 “Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.”
Standing strong doesn’t mean we won’t feel weary at times. It means choosing to remain anchored in Christ, trusting that He is still at work—even when the days feel ordinary.
God also reminds us that we don’t continue on in our own strength, but by His grace:
2 Corinthians 12:9 “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”
Our prayer as a church can be simple—that we would keep walking together, rooted in God’s Word, standing firm in faith, and continuing on with grace.
1 Corinthians 15:58 “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”

Single Men’s Kickoff
February 15 at 7:30 pm
We’re starting the year with a night about identity and setting the foundation for who we are becoming as men in Christ, both spiritually and practically.
We’ll be walking through 1 Corinthians 13:11 and having real conversation about maturity, responsibility, and how our identity in Christ shapes the way we live.
