Getting to Know the Trinity 🕊️
We’ve been covering some of the most important truths for life in our Wednesday Bible study. Let’s recap!
FOUNDATIONS: Our Triune God
One of the core truths of the Christian faith is that God is one — yet exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Scripture shows this clearly: “The LORD is one” (Deut. 6:4), and Jesus calls us to baptize in the one name of the Father, Son, and Spirit (Matt. 28:19).
But the Trinity isn’t just a doctrine to understand. It’s a relationship to experience. The way God exists is the way He loves, leads, and interacts with us.
God the Father — Our Loving, Sovereign Father
The Father created us, sustains us, and cares for us with perfect love. He adopts us into His family, provides for our needs, and shapes us to be more like Jesus. Because He is our Father, we can trust Him with every part of our lives.
God the Son — Our Savior and Shepherd
Jesus — fully God and fully human — came to rescue us. He gave His life to redeem us, intercedes for us even now, and leads us like the Good Shepherd He is. Because He is our Savior, we follow Him and walk with Him daily.
God the Holy Spirit — Our Helper and Comforter
The Spirit lives in every believer. He comforts, teaches, empowers, and grows us from the inside out. Because He is our Helper, we rely on Him and let Him guide our steps.
Why This Matters
Understanding the Trinity changes how we live:
- We pray relationally: to the Father, through the Son, in the Spirit.
- We rest securely: the Father loves us, the Son saves us, the Spirit seals us.
- We grow confidently: God Himself is at work in us.
- We live joyfully: we walk with the Triune God every day.

Paul’s blessing captures it all:‍
2 Corinthians 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Collection
November 16
We are so excited about packing shoeboxes to send the Gospel and gifts of love to boys and girls around the world.
Everyone can be involved in this effort. Â Pick up your shoeboxes starting Sunday, October 26.
We ask that you:
1 - fill the box completely
3 - pray for the child who will receive the box
Please bring packed shoeboxes back no later than November 16.

Baptism Sunday
November 16 and 22
God is doing a great work in hearts! Several have trusted in Christ lately and are ready to follow the Lord in believer's baptism. We are going to be baptizing after each service and celebrating with these new believers.
Because of the expected rain, we are adding an additional week for baptisms this month.
Need to be baptized? Sign up here! Then be sure to invite your friends and family to join with us that day to celebrate your baptism!
Prayer Team Gathering
November 20 at 7:30 pm
Join our prayer team for a time of praise and prayer. Everyone is invited!

Membership Class
November 22
Join us from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm for our upcoming Membership Class at Pastor Phillip and McKenzie's house. Brunch will be provided during the class. Please note that there will be no childcare available.

Sunday @ 9 AM - Prayer
We believe in the power of prayer. We would love for you to join us for this special time to seek the Lord together before the morning service.
Sunday @ 9:30 AM & 11:30 AM - Worship gathering
During the 9:30 AM service, there will be childcare through age 5.
During the 11:30 AM worship gathering, we will have childcare through 4th grade.
Check-in for childcare starts 15 minutes prior to each gathering.
Wednesday @ 7:00 PM - Bible Study
Come each Wednesday and be strengthened in your walk with the LORD and your connection with our church family. At the end of the Bible study, we break up into growth groups for discussion, connection, encouragement, and prayer.

Wednesday @ 7:00 PM - AWANA
Our exciting discipleship program for kids is each Wednesday night! Kids can check in as early as 6:45 PM. See you there!
