Remembering What Jesus Has Done, Looking Forward to What He Will Do
This past Sunday, as we celebrated Communion together, our new building and 10 years of Crosspoint, we remembered what Jesus has done for us.
We considered His sacrifice, His faithfulness, and His grace.
Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 11 that Jesus told His followers to take the bread and the cup “in remembrance of Me.” And then he says something important:
“For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes” 1 Corinthians 11:26
Communion looks backward at the cross, but it also points us forward.
The same Jesus who saved us is still at work. He is still building His church, saving souls, changing lives, answering prayers, restoring what is broken, and giving victory over sin.
And He has invited us to be part of what He is already doing.
As we look ahead, we can be excited about what God is going to do— not because we know exactly what He will do— but because we know who He is. His faithfulness in the past gives us confidence to trust Him with the future.
Let’s make ourselves available to God and say, “Lord, whatever You want to do, I want to be part of it.”
We remember what Jesus has done.
We anticipate what He will do.
And we dedicate ourselves to being used by Him.
The best days are not necessarily the easiest or most comfortable, but they are the days in which we faithfully follow Jesus and watch Him accomplish what only He can do.
Church, let’s get ready for what God is going to do—and let’s be ready and surrendered for Him to do it through us.

AWANA
October 7 | 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Our weekly discipleship for kids and junior high students is returning. It will be on Wednesdays from 7-8:30pm.
This is a wonderful time for your kids to learn Biblical truths and memorize Bible verses all while having fun together!
Hoving Home
October 10 | 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
This is a great opportunity for women in our church family to go and share God’s Word and love with women who need hope and Christian friendship.
Marriage & Parenting Collective
October 31 | 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Pastor Phillip and McKenzie will be hosting a special morning focused on marriage and parenting. Pastor Cary Schmidt and his wife, Dana, are joining us as we talk about building strong marriages and faithfully raising our families for Jesus.
Bring the whole family! Childcare will be provided for children of all ages. Child Evangelism Fellowship will be hosting a special children’s program and fall party for the kids.
And if you’d like to come early, breakfast will be available at 8:30 AM.
Single Ladies Gathering
November 7 I 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Join us for our final event of the year as we close out our Secure in Christ series with the single women!
This time, we’ll be exploring the topic of validation and how to find true security in Christ through every season. We will close with a special time of testimony, giving anyone who would like the opportunity to share how God has been working in their life.
Come ready to hear powerful testimonies, be refreshed by God’s Word, and encourage one another through what God is doing in our lives.

Check-in for childcare starts 15 minutes prior to each gathering.
Wednesday @ 7:30 pm - Bible Study
Join us each Wednesday as we gather together around God’s Word and prayer. It’s a time to grow in our faith, encourage one another, and strengthen our connection as a church family.
Wednesday @ 7:00 pm - AWANA
A discipleship program for kids/teens for ages 3 years-9th grade: check-in starts at 6:45 pm.
