Wholly Holy 🙌
Ephesians 4:11-13 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
Genuine Christ-likeness will grow from hearts that are truly seeking Him. We must be purposeful and intentional in our pursuit. It’s not forced or from guilt, but from the outflow of a heart of love that wants to honor Jesus.
If not from love, it is legalistic, ritualistic, and rigid. It is trading one set of chains for another. But when we grow in knowing the love of Jesus, our natural response will be to pursue Christ-likeness.
So what does this Christ-likeness look like? It looks like Holiness, Love, Grace, Patience, and more.
God has given leaders in our local church to help us to grow in maturity in Jesus Christ. Through the teaching and preaching of the Word of God as well as the discipleship and fellowship of believers, our faithful Savior will shape us and help us become more like Him.
None of us have arrived, but we should all desire to grow to reflect Jesus more to those around us.
If we can’t get there by loving Jesus, we don’t want to get there at all!
1 Peter 1:14-16 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

We have been meeting each Sunday morning at 10 AM to pray for the services. God has been working so mightily through the prayers! Thank you to all who have been a part of this important time!
