In just a few weeks, we will celebrate 9 years as a church family. This week, I was asked what one word describes the last 9 years of ministry. My response was “Relationships.”
It is our desire that we build a relationship with people from the time they first see our social media post or receive an invitation to come to Crosspoint. When they enter the property, we want to continue growing and fostering that relationship so we will have the opportunity to lead them into a relationship with Jesus and then His church.
As we have sought to build these relationships, it has been incredible to see Jesus work and change lives. He uses many different means to accomplish this. Maybe a lesson in Growth Group, a teaching at Bible study, the preaching of God’s Word, a verse you read in your personal time with God, or a loving Christian brother or sister who speaks a word of encouragement or correction. Whatever or whomever God uses, aren’t you thankful for Godly relationships?
Take a minute to think about the people God has used to invest in your walk with Him. Have you thanked them lately for the blessing they have been to you? Have you thanked Him for lovingly and graciously bringing them into your life?
How are you following their example and being a blessing to help another brother or sister in Christ grow?

Baptism Sunday
August 24
God is doing a great work in hearts! Several have trusted in Christ lately and are ready to follow the Lord in believer's baptism. We are going to be baptizing after each service and celebrating with these new believers.

Emmanuel Baptist Rescue Mission

Let's Go! We get to go together to serve the Lord Jesus and share His love with others on skid row. Everyone is welcome.
We will conduct a preaching service and share the Gospel with the attendees. Afterward, we will assist in serving the meal and cleaning up.

Just Men's Conference

Get ready for an awesome time at the Just Men Conference. It's a gathering of men from all walks of life to hang out, be encouraged, and grow together in biblical masculinity.
1 Corinthians 16:13-14 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. 14 Let all your things be done with charity.
Let's learn from God's Word what real masculinity looks like. Join us for inspiring speakers, engaging workshops, and of course, lots of fun.
We're going to hear from some men whom God has called to start brand new churches on the West Coast (some right here in Southern California!).

Sunday @ 9 AM - Prayer
We believe in the power of prayer. We would love for you to join us for this special time to seek the Lord together before the morning service.
Sunday @ 9:30 AM & 11:30 AM - Worship gathering
During the 9:30 service, there will be childcare through age 5.
During the 11:30 worship gathering, we will have childcare through 4th grade.
Check-in for childcare starts 15 minutes prior to each gathering.
Wednesday @ 7:00 PM - Bible Study
Come each Wednesday for Bible study. Be strengthened in your walk with the LORD and your connection with our church family. Throughout the summer, we will have separate Bible studies for men and ladies. At the end of the Bible study, we break up into growth groups for discussion, connection, encouragement, and prayer.

Wednesday @ 7:00 PM - Summer Kids
A summer kids program will run every week for ages 0-5th grade. Check in starts at 6:45 pm.
(Our Awana discipleship program for kids will resume at the end of summer)
