Let's Pray!! 🙏🏼⛪️
I want to share something that we believe could be a meaningful step in the life of our church. A unique opportunity may be opening before us: the possibility of acquiring the former St. James Methodist Church, located at 2033 E Washington Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91104, which is now permanently closed.
While nothing is finalized, we believe that this may be more than just a real estate opportunity — it could be a divine invitation. We sense that God may be moving, and we want to be attentive, prayerful, and obedient to His leading.
Psalm 127:1a “Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it.”
As we consider this, we are calling our entire church family to a season of intentional prayer. We are asking God to make His will clear, to give us spiritual wisdom and unity, and to prepare our hearts for whatever He may ask of us. Let’s pray not only for clarity, but for faith — the kind that boldly trusts Him, even when the path ahead is unfamiliar.
James 1:5 “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”
If God is indeed leading us in this direction, it will require generosity, not just financially, but in spirit — generosity of time, service, prayer, and encouragement. As the early church responded to the movement of the Holy Spirit, they did so with open hands and united hearts.
2 Corinthians 8:3, 5 “For I bear witness that according to their ability, yes, and beyond their ability, they were freely willing... but they first gave themselves to the Lord, and then to us by the will of God.”
We don’t want to get ahead of God—but we do want to be ready to move when He says “Go.” We are praying for His glory to be revealed through every step of this process, whether it leads to a new church home or simply a deeper trust in His perfect plan.
Let’s seek Him together. Let’s listen. Let’s be willing. And let’s stay open to how He may be calling us to grow, stretch, and believe Him for more.

Baptism Sunday

God is doing a great work in hearts! Several have trusted in Christ lately and are ready to follow the Lord in believer's baptism. We are going to be baptizing after each service and celebrating with these new believers.

Emmanuel Baptist Rescue Mission

Let's Go! We get to go together to serve the Lord Jesus and share His love with others on skid row. Everyone is welcome.
We will conduct a preaching service and share the Gospel with the attendees. Afterward, we will assist in serving the meal and cleaning up.

Just Men's Conference

Get ready for an awesome time at the Just Men Conference. It's a gathering of men from all walks of life to hang out, be encouraged, and grow together in biblical masculinity.
1 Corinthians 16:13-14 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. 14 Let all your things be done with charity.
Let's learn from God's Word what real masculinity looks like. Join us for inspiring speakers, engaging workshops, and of course, lots of fun.
We're going to hear from some men whom God has called to start brand new churches on the West Coast (some right here in Southern California!).

Cleaning Team
Did you know that we have a team of dedicated volunteers who come to the church throughout the week to make sure the place is clean and prepped for each service. Sunday @ 9 AM - Prayer
We believe in the power of prayer. We would love for you to join us for this special time to seek the Lord together before the morning service.
Sunday @ 9:30 AM & 11:30 AM - Worship gathering
During the 9:30 service, there will be childcare through age 5.
During the 11:30 worship gathering, we will have childcare through 4th grade.
Check-in for childcare starts 15 minutes prior to each gathering.
Wednesday @ 7:00 PM - Bible Study
Come each Wednesday for Bible study. Be strengthened in your walk with the LORD and your connection with our church family. Throughout the summer, we will have separate Bible studies for men and ladies. At the end of the Bible study, we break up into growth groups for discussion, connection, encouragement, and prayer.

Wednesday @ 7:00 PM - Summer Kids
A summer kids program will run every week for ages 0-5th grade. Check in starts at 6:45 pm.
(Our Awana discipleship program for kids will resume at the end of summer)
