Fix Your Eyes on Jesus
Over the last few weeks as a church family, we’ve been studying what it truly means to keep our eyes on Jesus. In a world filled with distractions, fear, pressure, and uncertainty, we want to encourage one another to make this a real priority—not just something we say, but something we live.
We should continually ask God to reveal where our focus has shifted away from Him and where distractions may be pulling our hearts away from trusting Him fully.
In 2 Chronicles 20, King Jehoshaphat faced a battle that was far too big for him to win on his own. Instead of relying on human strength or giving in to fear, he turned his eyes completely toward the Lord.
One of the most powerful verses in this chapter says, “We have no power against this great multitude… nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You” (2 Chronicles 20:12).
Jehoshaphat listened to God’s instruction and walked forward in obedience even before he saw the outcome. Victory came not because Judah was strong, but because they trusted the Lord.
May we do the same.
Let’s keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, trust His Word above our feelings, and remember that the battles we face are ultimately His to fight.
