Privacy

When you plan a visit, we ask for your name and email address, and, if you choose, a phone number. We also ask which gathering and day you’re coming, how many are coming, whether you’re bringing kids, and anything you’d like us to know.

Crosspoint’s staff and welcome team use this to greet you and follow up. It’s stored in the system that runs this website (Sanity), and notifications and your confirmation are sent by email through Resend. We don’t sell it or share it with anyone else.

If you sign up for weekly updates, your email address goes to Mailchimp, which runs our mailing list. Mailchimp emails you to confirm first, and every update has an unsubscribe link.

We use Google Analytics to see how people find and use this website, so we can improve it. It sets cookies in your browser so it can tell new visits from returning ones. It records things like:

• the pages you view (including sermon searches and filters, which show up in the page address)
• the site or search that brought you here
• your browser and device
• your approximate location, worked out from your IP address
• some actions on a page, such as scrolling, following a link to another site, downloading a file or starting a form

It doesn’t receive your name, email address, phone number or anything else you enter when you plan a visit or sign up for updates.

We also use it with our Google Ads account, to see how our ads are working and to show our ads to people who have visited this site. If you’re signed in to Google with personalized ads turned on, Google may connect your visits to your Google account so we can see combined reports, such as age ranges and interests. These reports are grouped; they never tell us who you are.

We don’t sell what Google Analytics collects. Google handles this information under its own privacy policy; you can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

To opt out, block or clear cookies for this site in your browser’s settings, install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or turn off personalized ads in Google’s My Ad Center.

Sermon videos play from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode. Giving happens on Pushpay, where Pushpay’s own privacy policy applies.
