The Fast God Desires — A Call to the Family of God
We’ve almost completed our first week of fasting together! It’s important for us to remember that biblical fasting is about far more than abstaining from food or comforts.
God is inviting us into a fast that transforms our hearts and overflows into how we love and interact with others.
In Isaiah 58, the Lord clearly describes the fast that pleases Him.
“Is this not the fast that I have chosen:
To loose the bonds of wickedness,
To undo the heavy burdens,
To let the oppressed go free,
And that you break every yoke?”
Isaiah 58:6
God is teaching His people that the fast He desires produces humility, repentance, and compassion. As we fast together, may our spirit be in submission to God’s Holy Spirit. May our prayers not stop at personal neediness for God to work but extend to freedom, healing, and restoration in our homes, our church, and our community.
Church family, let this be a season where our fasting aligns us with God’s heart. May our hunger for Him lead to deeper unity, renewed faith, and lives marked by love and obedience.

January 5 - 25
We are kicking off the year by connecting with our Lord and Savior in a powerful way - demonstrating (and being reminded of) our dependence on Him through prayer and fasting. Click here for fasting recommendations that will help and encourage you through these important, spiritually sharpening days.

Childcare and classes are available for kids through 4th grade.
Check-in for childcare starts 15 minutes prior to each gathering.
Wednesday @ 7:00 pm - Bible Study
Join us Wednesday night at 7:00 PM as we continue our series on the doctrines of the Bible. AWANA (3 years old through 9th grade) continues this Wednesday. Check in begins at 6:45 PM
