Church Family,
September is going to be a very special month for Crosspoint! As we prepare to celebrate ten years of God’s faithfulness and move into our new location at World Vision, I want to make sure you know about several important dates and how you can be a part of them.

Crosspoint’s Vision Sunday
September 6
On Vision Sunday, we’ll talk about who we are as a church and where we are going together. We’ll look at what the church is according to Scripture, our roles within the church, and our responsibilities to the Lord, to His Church, and to one another.
I’ll also talk about our move to World Vision, what you can expect, and answer your questions about the transition.

I hope you’ll make it a priority to be there. This is about more than changing locations—it’s an opportunity to remind ourselves what God has called us to be and do together.

Discipleship Meeting
September 13 at 1:30 pm
After our services, I’ll meet with our current disciplers and anyone interested in becoming a discipler.
While we continue doing one on one discipleship, we’re moving toward a more intentional model of ongoing discipleship—one that recognizes that making disciples is much more than completing a course. We’ll discuss the changes, where we’re headed, and how you can help others grow as followers of Jesus.

Moving Party
September 23 at 7:00 pm
Instead of our normal Wednesday activities, we’re having a church-wide Moving Party!
We need everyone who is able to help us make the transition and prepare for our first Sunday at World Vision.
There will be no regular Wednesday Bible study or activities that evening.

Ladies Retreat
September 24 - 26
Our ladies will be away for the Women’s Retreat. Please pray that the Lord will use this time of fellowship, encouragement, and teaching in a special way in their lives.

Crosspoint’s 10th Birthday + First Sunday at World Vision
September 27
This is a BIG Sunday!
We’ll celebrate ten years of God’s faithfulness to Crosspoint on the same Sunday we hold our first services at World Vision.
After the services, we’ll celebrate together with a taco truck! With so much happening that week, we don’t want to add the work of preparing and serving a large meal. We want our church family and volunteers to be able to enjoy this milestone together.
Come ready to worship, celebrate, fellowship, eat some tacos, and thank God for all He has done! This will also be a great Sunday to invite someone to join you.

Night Off
September 30
Within eight days, we’ll move the church, send our ladies to retreat, celebrate our 10th birthday, and begin meeting at World Vision. That’s a lot!
So, there will be no Wednesday activities on September 30. Instead, I encourage you to spend the evening with your family, get some rest, and enjoy some margin before we begin our regular Wednesday schedule at World Vision.
Church family, I am so grateful for the ways you serve, give, pray, encourage, invite, disciple, and invest in what God is doing at Crosspoint. Please pray for these important weeks ahead and that, through every transition and celebration, Jesus will be glorified in everything we do.
Buildings and locations may change, but our mission does not:
Love God. Grow Together. Serve Others.
I love you, Church, and I am excited to walk into this next chapter together!
Pastor Phillip
